CELEBRATING OVER THREE YEAR'S ONLINE

I am excited about my three year anniversary of my kids toys website, All I Can Imagine, and I am having an anniversary sale to celebrate! Various sets of giant building blocks will rotate and be on sale.

Creative Benefits:  Children receive creative stimulation by making their own designs with giant building block toys.

Red Giant Cardboard Building Blocks by Smart Monday Toys

During the past three years my best selling products have been the ImagiBRICKS giant cardboard building blocks.  Our blocks toys come in sets of 16, 14, 40 and bulk quantity.  You may also purchase a Timber blocks set or a Construction blocks set.

When your child reaches the age of 18 months doctors are recommending one of the best kid’s toys to provide both boys and girls are giant building blocks toys. The image of our red giant building blocks as pictured above is just one example of the available products on the market.

Playing with toy building blocks is nowadays often being replaced with other activities like watching TV that do not encourage language development. But it is good to remember that children who play with giant building blocks are likely to have better cognitive development -- a process by which the brain develops the abilities to think, learn and remember.

Block play teaches creativity and problem solving.
Creative people have the ability to come up with new ideas. When children are building with giant building blocks they practice coming up with new ideas. They must decide what they want to make. Block building gives children the chance to find solutions to problems and experiment with creating patterns.

Block play helps children learn social skills.
Invite children to work together. Children learn to get along with others and to feel good about working together. They learn that not all people have the same ideas.

Block play helps children develop emotionally.
Children feel effective and powerful when they make large scale buildings. The pretend worlds that children crate and play in gives children a chance to express strong feelings.

Children can become frustrated and discouraged when block structures fall down. Through regular block play children can learn to cope with these feelings and continue their play. Because of the balance of satisfaction and frustration block building is a perfect way for children to build strong self-esteem.

Block play helps children develop physically.
Children of all ages develop both large and small motor skills and eye-hand coordination when they play with blocks. As children learn to walk carefully around block structures, they improve their balance, control, and spatial awareness.

When selecting a day care center for your children it might be a good idea to check and see what kids toys are available in the play rooms. Your child will be spending many hours at the day care facility and you will probably want to make sure there are plenty of open-ended toys available so that your children can play creatively during the day.

If you discover that your day care facility does not have giant building blocks in their playrooms you might be able to encourage them to shop online for bulk quantities of ImagiBRICKS such as the red building blocks shown on this blog page.

Mocha and Baby Mocha by Purr-Fection
Do you remember your first stuffed animal? I received a black lamb with button eyes when I was 6 months old and I still have this stuffed toy. It is sitting on top of a dresser here in my office. Plush stuffed animals such as teddy bears and stuffed rabbits remain a favorite toy for both boys and girls. With Easter coming up it might be a good time to surprise your boy or girl with new stuffed animals such as stuffed bunny rabbits.
